Volunteer
We are currently 100% run by volunteers! As a new nonprofit, there is a lot of work to do but not enough hands to do it. While we work towards being able to hire both full time and part time staff, we are relying on volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers with a wide variety of skills ranging from social media and graphic design to writing and data analysis. Citizen Scientist
We believe conservation efforts are most effective when the whole community is involved! While the direct handling of endangered/ threatened sea turtles is limited in many places to those who have been trained and are on a government permit, there are ways to support research efforts and to add valuable data to long-term on going projects. Partnership
Aside from involving the community, we want to create a supportive network of marine conservation groups and organizations! Many conservation groups are overworked and overwhelmed with the sheer amount of work it takes to run an organization and help save the planet. We are looking to create partnerships to help provide things such as funding, data analysis, and work hours (among other resources), as well as work together on projects that can help conserve local marine environments.
